Happy Deepavali

Tomorrow is the day. Well, I care. Because I get a day off. ;D And of course, my Indian friends could wear nice saree, put flowers in their hair & eat murukku all day long. I'll join them. Eating murukku, that is. ;p

Last 2 days I had the most terrible period pain. Soo glad it went away after 2 days. The husband was super nice, with all the soothing massage & rubs. Not to mention Yaasin recital in the middle of the night. Such a drama king kan? Macam aku nak mati je gayanya. You know I love you very much babyyyy!!! ;>

My mum admitted herself in Lam Wah Ee yesterday for frozen shoulder treatment. After GA, some shoulder manipulation, analgesics, etc, she left the hospital at noon today. Last sms I received, she's eating porridge at Marrybrown. Sounds good. I wish & pray for your speedy recovery, Mak! ; )

Last weekend

Saturday - fought the crazy traffic at noon to get to this restaurant, Kudu Bin Abdul at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, KL

After reading some good reviews, we're really tempted to try the nasik kandaq

My order. Had to decide fast. There were like, 20 others lining up behind me. Anyway, I chose telur ikan goreng, ayam goreng & kubis kunyit. Kuah campur. Bendi & sambal kelapa tu dia letak sendiri

He just couldn't wait anymore ;p

Oh, my review? Nasi Kandar Kayu lagi sedap. Pencampuran kuahnya tidak menghasilkan rasa yang meletop. Sebenarnya kalau nak makan nasik kandaq, kena pandai campur kuah. My all time favourite is the mixture of kuah kari, kuah masak hitam & kuah ayam madu. Marvellous!!

Sunday - Went to The Curve. The moment we stepped into IKEA, my son husband got so excited, he almost screamed "Ejad nak hotdog! Ejad nak hotdog!" Queue was longggg. You've got no idea how people go gaga over the hotdog, karipap & ice cream. Including us. ;p

Hotdog + ice cream + carbonated drink = RM 4. The satisfaction they brought? Priceless. (ada macam iklan VISA tak? ;p)

Then, we watched Takers at Cineleisure. Quite a nice one, but I just couldn't take the ending. I mean, that's it? That's all?? Pfftt. Anyway, we headed straight to Waroeng Penyet for dinner right after.

Our orders - ayam penyet 2 set, nasi putih 2 & keropok. Should have ordered some soup. Kering & kesat makanan masuk ke esophagus.

Food here cost less than Wong Solo. But Wong Solo has better sambal. Nangis tetap nangis. Dua2 sama, pedas nak mampus kalau makan banyak2.
