Kita memang tak reti bahasa

Apakah perasaan kawan-kawan kita agaknya, kalau setiap hari kita buat pe'el macam ni?

1. Nak breakfast&/lunch sama dengan depa, tapi kita tunggu sampai depa jemput kita di bilik. Kalau perut kita dah pedih berdarah dikakis hydrocloric acid, barulah kita yang pi ketuk bilik depa. Jahat kan depa ni tak reti-reti nak ajak kita makan on time? Kesian kita...

2. Kita suka tanya depa, "nak makan di mana?" Padahal kita dah tau dah, depa semua pun dah pening nak decide tempat makan. Bila depa kata tak tau, depa tanya kita pulak, kita sengihhhh je. "Hehehehhehehe..." Sebab kita pun tak tau nak jawab..

3. Bila sampai di persimpangan antara kereta-kereta depa dengan kereta kita, kita suka tanya,  "naik kereta sapa harini?" Kita harap sangat depa jawab "jomlah naik kereta saya je". Kadang-kadang depa tanya balik, "kenapa? nak naik kereta awak ke?". Jahat tau depa ni, kita kan selalu tak bawak kunci..... Maka kita pun jawab, "Ehehehehhehehheheh, kita sebenarnya tertinggal kunci kereta la... Hehhehehehhehehehehhehe". Hampir tiap-tiap hari (2 kali sehari) kita buat macamni. Bestttt...

4. Kita sebenarnya, bukan kedekut tenaga & wang ringgit. Kita ada jugak bawak depa naik kereta kita. Contohnya kan, kalau kita nak pergi bank/pejabat pos/stesen minyak lepas makan, kita akan ajak depa naik kereta kita. Tak seronok lah kan, kalau depa yang drive-kan kita untuk buat urusan peribadi. Sebenarnya kann, kita nak depa temankan kita. Kalau kita pergi sorang, kita tak confident wak, kita takutt.... Kita takut kalau-kalau mat bangla tu ngorat kita kalau kita pergi stesen minyak sorang-sorang..


Tapi, kita sedihhhh.... Sebab kan, harini kan, sorang kawan kita yang mulut jahat tu cakap, "kalau rasa kedekut minyak (petrol), bawak bekal je lah". Sampai hati dia. Huwaaaaaaa.........

Harini IELTS test berjalan lancar. Have a good feeling about the test since an article about ruminants came out in the reading section. Nama species pelik2, but I have no trouble digesting sebab dah familiar dengan animal families/species. Very lucky indeed. Alhamdulillah. I was even more relieved to see the topic for writing section, which was about saving the environment. Gah! Puas baca di internet when preparing for the speaking test, rupa2nya dia keluar untuk writing section. :D

Anyway, lepas habis test tengah hari tadi, singgah lunch di Subway. Guna kupon yang dapat daripada The Star semalam. ;p Sukanya bila ada discount coupons kan..

Had a chicken teriyaki sandwich with all the veges. Melimpah ruah sampai tak habis makan. Padan muka. 

Lepas tu singgah di MidValley pulak. Sahabat sorang nih teringin nak ke postgraduate fair di MidValley Exhibition Hall. Sangat menghampakan lah, sebab local universities & a few Korean unis saja yang ada. Apa ko harap ada Cambridge, Oxford kah? ;p

At last membawa kaki ke Jusco, membeli barang2 keperluan perut. Tengah jalan belek2, tiba2 kawanku si Sharina yang baru balik dari New Zealand berkata, "Ayu, ni lah product NZ yang famous."

Ye ke Sha? Ambik lah satu. 

RM 9.90 sahaja u'olls.. Mussels dia segar, manis & firm. Harus angkut lagi lepas ni.

Habis cerita.

Mana lah laki mak tak balik2 lagi nih... Karang sekuali habis masuk perutku seorang.

Why women love handbagsssss

Thought I should commemorate the history of my handbags in here. Kot-kot la satu hari nanti aku nyanyuk tak ingat apa-apa.

It all started with a bag bought at Champs-Elysees Paris during the summer break (June 2009). After much researching & lurking around in Purse Forum, I finally decided on my 1st Louis Vuitton bag.

To me, a Neverfull is ideal for casual outing and it's discreet enough to be used as a school bag. I just love the versatility and the ease of getting things in/out of the bag. My absolute favourite. I'm using it on a daily basis now. (Nasib baik mak beli awal-awal nyah, sekarang harganya sudah naik melambung lagi)

Following that, I got addicted to Vuitton's website. And so, once I knew Pakcik Mok's going to Paris a few months after that, I asked for his kindness to get me these;

The justification : I need this for events like - jamuan raya di embassy, kenduri kahwin ke, etc.

Justification - A bandeau is needed to accessorize my Neverfull. Sebenarnya nak beli bag charm tapi tak mampu ;p

Then, in November 2009, I was itching to get another handbag. Menyampah takk? Went back & forth to Louis & Mulberry Amsterdam, deciding between LV Madeleine PM Noir or Mulberry East West Bayswater in chocolate printed leather. I was leaning more to EW Bays, but according to Pakcik Mok, Madeleine looks better, "more classy" was his exact words. I just could not decide, so Madeleine it was. What a regret. Sorry Pakcik Mok. ;p

*My mum loves the Madeleine more than I do, so now it's officially hers. :> *

Guess what? I could not stop thinking about the chocolate printed EW Bays, so I stalked Mulberry website day & night. But, I just could not afford to fork out another 600++ euros for the bag. One fine day, Mulberry had online sale & I saw an EW Bays at 50% off. What a steal! It arrived on my doorstep on January 7, 2010. And so, here's my 1st online purchase;

* The EW Bays was given to my mother as a thank you gift. Love you mak! ;D I actually love the bag so much, but it's okay. I can always pinjam sat beg tu. ;p*

I also bought a cheer-me-up gift for myself. Something small, but truly beautiful. : ) I was in the middle of finishing my research project, when I finally decided to pay a visit at the LV store in Amsterdam.

Used it as a key holder, a small wallet & later as a phone case for my Nokia E72.


* I lost my Multicles Rabat at Red Wok Bangi on 22/11/2010. I took out my phone to take pictures of the food and then just slide the cles into my handbag placed behind me. I guess the cles just slid on the bag, onto the chair/floor instead of sliding into my handbag. Went to Red Wok & asked for it twice, but to no avail. :( *

Next, is a story about the most costly accessory I've ever bought. And guess what? It's not for me. Nangess. On February 6 2010, I visited a friend, Azwan in Maastricht. While browsing through small town center, I saw a huge SALE sign in a luxury watch store, Willy Vossen. Then my eyes caught the image of Oris BC4 Flight Timer with a small card beside it, "30% off". OMG. I know how my fiance likes Oris watches very much, so my plan was to put the watch in a dulang hantaran. : )

However........ Checking the price of Oris BC4 Flight Timer in Malaysia (a month after purchasing), the 30% off at Willy Vossen was just a con. Huh. Realizing that I paid so much for that watch (balik Malaysia pun bil credit card masih berbaki), I decided that my daddy is a much deserving person for that watch. I mean, the chance to get an Oris watch for my fiance will come again, but this time I decided to put my daddy first. The father who has been so kind to me, always providing & showering me with his love & gifts is so precious. I love you so much, Ayah! : )

Nearing the time to fly back to Malaysia, somewhere in February 2010, the itch came (again). I went browsing PC Hoofstraat in Amsterdam. Went inside Louis, Mulberry, Chanel & Gucci. Almost gave up on buying anything because no bag seemed to excite me. Well, there were bags that caught my attention, but they're wayyy out of my budget. At last, after being enchanted by the sweet words of a sales assistant, I came out from a store with this in hand;

And so. The story ends(??) with me regretting not having a Chanel.

Well, if you're smart you'll understand why I can't wait to start my PhD in London.

Now you tell me, why do women love handbags?

Air dah sampai 4 jenis beratur depan mata, laman sesawang gosip artis semua dah khatam berkali-kali. Tapii.... Satu mukasurat pun tak bertulis lagi. 

Haih. Malas.

Doa & tawakal

Sebelum boleh paham story nih, meh belajar pengetahuan baru (kalau sudi).

1. IELTS - International English Language Testing System
2. TOEFL - The Test of English as a Foreign Language
Salah satu daripadanya mesti diduduki & lulus dengan cemerlang sebelum boleh menerima biasiswa Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi & cuti belajar dari universiti. Juga merupakan syarat sah untuk jadi pelajar di universiti luar negara yang menggunakan bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa pengantar.

Itu le pentingnye English edukesyen. ;p 

Khamis depan ada IELTS test. Sebab apa kena ambik English test sekali lagi? Jawapannya: TOEFL results akak walaupun amat cemerlang adalah sudah tamat tempoh. Hantu kan? Kali ni, saja gatal nak cuba IELTS pulak sebab kata orang, IELTS lebih senang daripada TOEFL.

Pada akak, lantak le senang ke susah, yang paling penting untuk IELTS speaking test, kita bercakap dengan examiner (manusia). Masa TOEFL speaking test 2 tahun++ dulu, akak bercakap dengan komputer u'olls. Komputer tu haramm takde respon apa2. Dia cuma tunjukkan jumlah masa untuk bercakap yang makin berkurang setiap saat di skrin monitor. Tak ke naik sasau aku dibuatnya? Sudahlah di kiri kanan ramai candidates lain, makanya akak bercakap pun segan2. Kadang2 sampai berbisik, dengan muka yang makin lama makin mencium skrin monitor. Punyalah tak nak kasi orang2 di sebelah dengar hujah2 yang merepek semuanya.

Kali ni nekad, mesti nak bercakap dengan manusia. No more voice recording in front of a computer. 

Tapi, macam mana agaknya nak menyiapkan diri untuk speaking test ye? Masa makin suntuk. Akak pulak dah setahun tak skiping English on a daily basis. Nak keluarkan full English sentence dari mulut terkial2 rasanya.

Ahh. Main doa & tawakal je aci tak? ;p

He's the sweetest

Dear husband returned home after work at 9.30pm, holding a big brown paper bag with him.

When I peeked inside, I saw these:

I actually showed the hair brush & foot file to him the night before. "B, nanti orang nak beli nih. Tengok nih b", pulling his head towards the computer screen (paksa suruh tengok jugak).

Rintihan hari Ahad

Nak pi kenduri kahwin, tapi baju semua ketat-metat sebab ahkak makin gems. Huwaaa...... Rasa macam nak duduk dalam rumah ja, takmau pi mana-mana.

Tapi kalau nak pi Tony Romas ahkak nak ikutt......
